We will begin by getting the most overused story out of the way. It is no secret that Barcelona has been pursuing Neymar for quite some time, but recent rumors suggest he is absolutely on his way.

James Dickenson of Express recently claimed that Neymar was inching very close to his high-profile move to Barcelona. Surprisingly, as soon as this story hit the news it was none other than Brazilian legend Pele who stated that Neymar must make the switch to Barcelona (via Independent).

The Independent also released a reportfrom an interview with Dani Alves where the right-back admitted that he has been trying to get Neymar to come to Barcelona for years.

His work may have finally paid off as talkSPORT also released its own rumored interview with Alves. In this interview, the Brazilian stated that Neymar had finally agreed to the move.

But fans shouldn't get overly excited just yet. The Metro has rumored that Santos is now opening talks for a new contract for Neymar in hopes to get him to stay.

One thing is certain. Barcelona needs another scorer now that teams appear to have finally found the answer against La Blaugrana. Neymar could be the answer to that problem.
